A real Christian life lived, simple like Jesus, and profound like Jesus

Phyllis did her job well in detailing Sundar's brief life. She begins nearly every chapter with one of his parables. Sundar was so rare an individual, having a godly mother's example and his own spiritual hunger from early youth. He was no less a sinner than the rest of us until, - until that night when everything changed and he bowed his whole being to Jesus and never looked back. For a while Sundar traveled and taught a lot (even coming to America) but was grieved by the state of the church both in Europe and here, and went home to rather minister to the Hindus and Buddhists of India and Tibet. After his conversion, Sundar's was a life lived to the full.

Lengthy with obvious errrors

Unfortunately this is the standard real estate text so there just aren't many other options. It covers the content fairly well but it's very frustrating to me when the book contains errors and mistakes, especially when you're using it as a reference. For instance, the Quiz Answers for Chp 7 #4 is C, but this is directly out of the CA real estate form 14B where 17 days is the default timeline for disclosures.

The book is also extremely lengthy and just goes through way too much detail and repeats over and over similar topics. Quizes from different chapters have essentially the same question.

The book would be better if it were 100pgs shorter, and more accurate.

Good book for an intro class. But a lot of the material was redundant. It covers a lot of topics which is good. And yes, they appear later on in the book too. For the purpose of the class it was spot on. It's a good reference book to hold on to.

Terrible book, decent price I guess, and fast shipping

They need to fire their editor. They constantly dive straight in to topic without defining key terms. If you're lucky they define them later in the chapter or in the next chapter. I could see that they assume a certain degree of prior knowledge of real estate and legal terminology, except this is supposed to be an intro book, and they spend an entire chapter on remedial algebra. They spend most of a page explaining what a decimal is, but they can't clearly define a deed or title in a chapter called "Legal Descriptions, Methods of Acquiring Title, and Deeds". The book isn't all bad I suppose. They do manage to include several useful figures and copies of real estate documents, and there are times when it fairly clearly explains some core concepts... but mostly its all over the place. It repeats itself, it omits things leaving you wondering far too often, and for whatever reason they decided to use what appears to be about 14pt font with wide, too often blank, margins... making it a waste of paper in more ways than one. As for Amazon, they did a great job. The packaging was fine, if a little large, and they were as quick as always. If your class requires this book... I'm sorry. On the bright side, this is a great place to buy it from.
