The Clancy Universe is coming together
By Iwan
The stories of Endwar, GhostRecon and Splinter Cell are complimentary. And this story is the continuation of The Hunted, in the Endwar series. Story arcs from the latest Splinter Cell are transitioning to Endwar as well. Unfortunately, the author isn't aware of the fact that Third Echelon no longer exists and is now Fourth Echelon...
The book starts of with firing up the various story lines, that is a bit confusing, especially when you have to break up your reading session in the middle of the chapter. You're finding yourself flipping back pages to reiterate where you left off.
But once the scene is set, the plot unfolds and you really start getting into the heads and lives of the characters. Characters you love to hate.
The end of the book feels a bit like finishing up. As if there was a max number of pages that could be filled. As usually found in American action movies. Unlike The Hunted, where it wasn't clear if there would be a happy ending, The Missing is clearly all about showing off American dominance in the war arena. Which is too bad, as it hampers the Endwar universe to become truly emmersive.

Have never missed a Clancy fiction book
By TrpDip7
It is with great sorrow that Tom Clancy has passed on however, he has left us with exceptionally trained writers that hopefully will continue writing as he himself did. Peter Telep is one of those writers and clearly has a grasp of Clancy's style in the Endwar series.

A good extension of series
By Dean Smith
Further expands on the End War series with tie ins to Splinter Cells and Ghosts. Some slow spots like all books but really adds to Snow Madien and the last End War book.
